How Charlie got an extra £5,000 for his idea
Ideas come in all shapes and sizes
Charlie had a great idea to make a documentary about the evacuation of Alderney in the Channel Islands during the Second World War to commemorate its 75th anniversary. It’s his second project, and this time he needed £10,000 to start filming.
Making ideas happen
With the help of our online support tools Charlie came up with a great project page, offering fantastic rewards in return for pledges of money. They included exclusive opportunities to join the film crew and attend the premiere, which went down a storm. Soon he'd got half-way to his target.
